West Ham have already commenced with working on a busy summer of recruitment in east London, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Following the confirmation from the club that David Moyes will depart this summer, its now fully expected that Julen Lopetegui will take the reigns and will be confirmed as Head Coach following our final game of the campaign against Manchester City.

The news of a managerial change along with many players out of contract this summer, leans towards a significant overhaul of the squad – and its now been reported by our Podcast co-host and club insider Ex that the club have already commenced work on bringing in new players for the new era at West Ham.

“It appears that new manager Julen Lopetegui has signed all the paper work and has already begun working with Tim Steidten to identify new recruits with a couple of deals already being worked on,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“The club have insisted that they won’t announce the appointment until the end of the season to allow David Moyes to see out his final two games.

“We will be bringing you details coverage of these transfer plans through the summer and have already told you a number of the players we are actively going for in previous updates. These updates will start to come in more detail in the coming days as the club plan to try and get some signings through the door early on.”

Ex will be keeping fans fully up to date on the progress of all incomings and outgoings, first and foremost on The West Ham Way Patreon.
