There has been much speculation surrounding Nicola Vlasic being recalled by West Ham this January, with ExWHUEmployee providing clarity on the situation.

The Hammers attacking midfielder is currently on loan at Italian side Torino, with the Croation international impressing, prompting rumours online that the player is set to be recalled by David Moyes as West Ham attempt to pull away from the wrong end of the table quickly.

The West Ham Way Podcast co-host and famed ITK ExWHUEmployee however has advised that the talk of the club recalling Vlasic is not true.

Ex advised that there is no clause in the loan agreement to enable Moyes to recall the midfielder, with the only option being if Torino decide to terminate the agreement, which is highly unlikely.

“The club do not have a recall option on the loan deal,” Ex stated on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“So it isn’t an option unless Torino offer to terminate the deal. There is no reason for them to do this when his loan has been so successful-he is one of the best chance creators in Europe at the moment.

“It isn’t thought that this is something David Moyes would want because he has made it clear the player doesn’t feature in his plans this season.”

With the January transfer window closing in just 5 days time, there is set to be a lot of reports on player movement in the market. Ex will keep fans fully up to date on all matters first & foremost on Patreon.
