Sporting Director Mark Noble was yesterday in attendance for the Monaco vs PSG in France and was watching a key target of David Moyes, it has been confirmed by ExWHUEmployee.

The former West Ham captain, who took up the position of Sporting Director officially at the start of the year, has many different aspects within his position – and player recruitment now appears to be something Noble has a key say in.

The West Ham Way Podcast co-host and famed ITK Ex exclusively stated on Patreon that Noble was believed to be a guest of the Monaco hierarchy for yesterdays match against the Ligue 1 giants PSG, in which Monaco came away 3-1 winners.

As reported exclusively by The West Ham Way back in early January, West Ham have a long term interest in Monaco and France international defender Axel Disasi, with Ex revealing that the highly rated player is believed to be the main reason for Nobles visit.

“We can confirm that sporting director Mark Noble was in attendance at Monaco’s 3-1 win over PSG,” Ex reported on Patreon.

“Whilst we are looking at a number of players in the French league we think that the main focus will be French international centre back Axel Disasi who I reported us being linked with in January and said we were likely to make a summer move for.”

Ex also reported that this visit could now be a reoccurring theme, with our former captain likely to attend further matches across Europe in the coming months as West Ham look to bolster the ranks this summer with a number of players being identified by the recruitment team at the club.

“Noble is expected to attend a number of matches in Europe and try and build good links with notable clubs making future transfers easier to complete. It is believed he was the guest of the Monaco hierarchy today.”
