West Ham are weighing up a move to sign Bristol City midfielder Alex Scott, it has been confirmed by ExWHUEmployee.

Our famed club insider and Podcast co-host previously revealed back in April this year that Scott was a target, with the club looking to explore the Championship market again having had plenty of success with that strategy over the years.

With a busy summer expected in East London, particularly with the ongoing potential Declan Rice sale, West Ham will be eager to strengthen in midfield, and Scott is regarded as once one of the stand out players in the 2nd tier for that position.

Scott, who is only 19 years of age and was named the Young Player of the Year in the Championship last season, has become a key player at Ashton Gate which has understandably alerted others, and West Ham are a club that hold a firm interest.

At this stage no formal offer has been made, however it is reported that the club are currently weighing up a proposal to take the talented player into the Premier League.

With Scott being regarded by Pep Guardiola previously as an ‘unbelievable talent’, it is expected that we will face competition for his signature.
