West Ham have confirmed that they are expecting a formal bid imminently from Manchester City for Declan Rice, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

The future of our Hammers captain has been one of constant speculation for years, with Rice earning plaudits around the globe for his consistent and accomplished displays at the heart of the West Ham midfield, however this summer it is widely expected that he will depart East London.

Much of the talk gearing towards this summer was that Rice was highly likely to move North of the capital to Arsenal, and this has since been followed up by 2 bids from the Gunners, both of which have been rejected promptly.

The growing sense at present is that the offers made by Arsenal include add-ons which West Ham deem unrealistic, and also the timeline on payments are wide apart from both respected parties. Ex has reported that Arsenals hesitance and low offers are frustrating West Ham, however in doing so have enabled others to enter the race for the England midfielder.

Manchester City, as expected, are now set to show their hand and make a formal offer to rival Arsenals, with Ex reporting the proposal is imminent.

“West Ham have confirmed that they expect a bid from Manchester City to arrive today or tomorrow,” stated Ex on Patreon. “What they are hearing although again it won’t be confirmed until It’s officially in, is that it’s £75m with £15m add ons but paid over 2 years as opposed to the 4/5 Arsenal have been offering.”

Ex has also advised that Manchester United are too expected to table an offer, however nothing has been formally submitted as yet.
