West Ham have officially rejected a bid from Manchester City for Declan Rice, The West Ham Way can confirm.

The Premier League champions tabled an offer to rival Arsenals for Rice last night, with the proposal reported to be £80m plus £10m in add-ons, however ExWHUEmployee has confirmed that the City bid has been outright rejected by our Hammers board.

“We can confirm that the bid has been rejected,” stated Ex on Patreon.

“The offer was deemed completely unacceptable by West Ham according to very well placed sources. The club are anticipating a third offer from Arsenal.”

It is now widely expected that Arsenal will table their 3rd bid soon with the Gunners hoping the proposal is acceptable to West Ham.

The West Ham Way will be keeping fans up to date on the situation as it develops.
