West Ham completed the signing of highly promising winger Sean Moore, with ExWHUEmployee giving his thoughts on the new arrival.

Moore is the latest recruit from Northern Ireland, with the club having previously landed Michael Forbes, Callum Marshall, Josh Briggs and Patrick Kelly to join our famed Academy of Football.

It was originally reported by ExWHUEmployee back in January that the club were looking to sign the highly sought after Republic of Ireland U19 international, and it has now been confirmed by the club that the deal has been concluded.

“It’s pretty amazing to sign a professional contract at West Ham United,” Moore told the clubs Official Website. “I am absolutely delighted to join West Ham. It’s a massive Club, so it was an easy decision for me.

“Last year, West Ham won the FA Youth Cup, and the first team also won the UEFA Europa Conference League, which was a brilliant achievement.

“It’s a family-orientated Club too. I have heard nothing but good things about West Ham. I know Callum Marshall, Patrick Kelly, and Josh Briggs well, and they told me how good it is here and how much they have enjoyed it.”

Kenny Brown, Academy Manager and friend of The West Ham Way, understandably has high hopes for Moore and believes he has a very bright future in East London.

“Sean is a dynamic, pacey winger who we have been monitoring over the past couple of years and one we believe has a really bright future in east London,” stated Brown.

“Sean has been a prominent player for Cliftonville in Northern Ireland, and having just finished a successful season with them, we are excited to have him join our U21 squad here at Rush Green.”

Ex also gave this thoughts on the signing, admitting that bringing in Moore wasn’t easy with many clubs also keen on the promising forward.

“I think he is a great prospect according to all reports,” said our club insider. “I cant say I know too much about him but I know we have beaten a lot of competition to his signature.”
