There are further changes being implemented to the staff at West Ham this summer, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

It is a significant summer of change at the club, with our captain set to depart, a new Sporting Director appointed in Tim Steidten and new coaches to be appointed following the departures of Mark Warburton and Paul Nevin from David Moyes backroom team.

The next big change, exclusively revealed by ExWHUEmployee on The West Ham Way Patreon, surrounds Mark Noble, with the Sporting Director now having a full time assistant.

Mark Philips, the highly regarded U18’s assistant manager, is now taking up the post to work alongside club legend and former captain Noble.

“We can confirm that popular U18’s assistant manager Mark Philips, will be changing roles from this new season,” stated our man-in-the-know.

“The big West Ham fan who was instrumental in the development of Declan Rice and many other players, will be supporting Mark Noble as his assistant.

“Whilst the specifics of the role are not entirely determined yet, it is thought that Philips’ experience and passion for the club could be very beneficial across the academy.”

Futhermore, Ex advised that Kevin Keen will remain as the clubs U18’s manager whilst promoting from within to replace Philips as the assistant manager.

“Kevin Keen will remain as the under 18s manager, with Lauris Coggin replacing Philips as the assistant manager. He was formerly the under 15s/16s lead coach. The club are currently recruiting for a replacement for Coggin.”
