West Ham are in the race to sign highly sought after Premier League centre-back on a free transfer this Summer.

Anyone who has watched West Ham this season knows that most of their problems have stemmed from their back line. Nayef Aguerd has made countless mistakes this season, Konstantinos Mavropanos took a while to settle into the Premier League (although as of late he has been sensational) and Kurt Zouma’s mobility issues have also led to goals being conceded.

With it looking likely that the Moroccan will be sold, West Ham are becoming increasingly desperate to sign a top quality centre-back. Thankfully, it seems like they could get one of the Premier League’s most underrated ones, Jacob Steinberg reports.

Adarabioyo Tosin has been incredible for Fulham. His tackling, presence and aerial ability all make him a dominant force at the back. With his contract expiring in the Summer, Marco Silva’s side have been trying everything to get him to sign an extension, but their efforts have been fruitless.

Signing a player of his quality on a free would be outstanding business but, unsurprisingly, his contract situation has attracted some of the biggest clubs in Europe such as Liverpool and AC Milan, while Tottenham have also shown interest in acquiring his services.

Our own ExWHUEmployee exclusively revealed our interest in him some time ago and has repeatedly stated that he remains a target.

If our Irons are able to win the battle for his signature, then he would almost certainly be a perfect fit. He possesses all the attributes of a top defender and also would help us to fulfil our home grown quota.
