West Ham set to battle fierce rivals for the signature of prolific striker in the Summer transfer window.

Although they have tried on numerous occasions, West Ham have failed to sign an adequate replacement for Michail Antonio. Despite his recent turn in form, they are more desperate than ever to bring someone in.

The Hammers’ all time top Premier League scorer has been sensational over the years, but his age has caught up on him and it is common knowledge that he struggles to play a full match, especially not multiple games a week.

Understandably, finding the right fit is a lengthy process but, according to GIVEMESPORT, one potential candidate is Mohamed Amoura. The Union Saint-Gilloise striker has scored 22 goals across all competitions this season and he is the second top scorer in top flight of Belgian football.

Unsurprisingly, a 23 year old with those stats is always going to attract attention. While he has tabs being kept on him by clubs across Europe, it is said that three Premier League clubs are leading the way: West Ham, Tottenham and Wolves.

Given that the Algerian’s contract does not expire until 2027, any side looking to acquire his services will have to pay a hefty fee. However, in return they will be getting one of the most exciting talents outside Europe’s top 5 leagues.

A player doing amazingly in a country such as Belgium does not always mean they’ll be able

to make the step up to the Premier League, but there is clearly a reason that so many clubs are interested in signing him. Beating Tottenham to his signature would be a nice bragging right for the East London faithful, but that’s pointless if he is not able to produce the goods.
